My Highlights… Martyn Lawrence Ballard from Million Dollar Decorators called me Delicious. Yes, while signing his book Live, Love, Decorate Martyn called me DELICIOUS! During her keynote Kathryn Ireland called the Max Factor heir Shannon Factor the “B” word, and Juan Montoya said my smile was contagious. Not to mention that the Schumacher showroom had the best champagne ever. “Well when you are referencing champagne quantity does wonders for the quality.”-Tiffany Brooks
I also met other wonderful Chicagoland designers such as Jeanie Balsam, who designed for the 2010 Dreamhome, and is my inspiration for a Wilmette bedroom that I am currently working on. Sarah Van Assche, who imparted some wonderful words of wisdom when we briefly discussed dealing with the business of being a designer. They are both fabulous local designers. We also got to view Martyn Lawrence Ballard’s new fabric collection through Schumacher. It is the most wonderful combination of jewel toned ikats and chevron on earth!
