I’m so excited to share that I’ve been featured in the book In the House: Celebrating America’s Leading Black Interior Designers, published by Monacelli and authored by Alton LaDay. Being included in this collection is truly an honor and a reflection of how far our industry has come in celebrating a wider range of voices and perspectives in design.
What I love most about In the House is that it’s not just about beautiful interiors (though there are plenty GORGEOUS spaces). It’s about the stories behind them; the lived experiences, the cultural influences, and the intentional choices that make a house feel like home. That’s always been at the center of my work at Tiffany Brooks Interiors.
My design philosophy has never been about creating a “signature look” that clients have to adapt to. Instead, it’s about building spaces that reflect who they are and how they actually live. Every project is personal, and every home tells its own story. Being included in a book that honors that same spirit across so many talented designers makes this especially meaningful.
I’m proud to be part of this moment alongside so many other designers that I admire, and I’m grateful to be contributing to a larger conversation about design, culture, and representation.
